The website, the link to the page is given here:

briefly presents the basic statements about the meaning of the movements and the music and a compact history of Gurdjieff’s musical activities is recounted, including information about the cycle of 39 dances which Gurdjieff had successively given one by one to his pupils during the course of many years.

The selection by themes of compact discs with Gurdjieff’s music has been offered on many websites dealing with the movements or the Fourth Way. In order to get a perspective of the released compact discs one can make use of the following two links, among many others, to the internet stores of the respective websites:

Presently the musical compositions of Gurdjieff and de Hartmann are presented quite actively by a whole set of performers, some of whom also teach the movements. A selected list of performers is presented below, with photographs of the covers of one of the compact discs, drastically reduced in size. For those who have their own websites, they are enclosed in brackets. Biographical information about the musicians, their photographs and complete discographies are available on these websites.

2/ Making a New Sound is a collection of music for the contemplative listener.
It consists of some arrangements of the music by Gurdjieff/de Hartmann. She sings them on this CD. Dorine Tolley plays some of the authentic movements music and also an improvisation of her own.

The contents are:

Alleluia, Song of the Fisherwomen, Canon of Seven, The Fall of the Priestess, Slow Second Obligatory, The Story of the Resurrection of Christ, Walking Prayer, Essentuki Prayer, Assyrian Women Mourners, Orthodox Midnight Hymn, The Trembling Dervish.
